News & Goings On Well folks, a whole lot is going on, but running around in the woods surveying new bogs or looking for orchids almost always wins over updating this page.   Call me or eMail to find out what is going on, or perhaps to schedule a field trip! - CPT April 9, 2003   Volunteers wanted for preserve restoration ! CPT is looking for a few folks to take a weekend trip to the Watson Pineland Preserve in Tyler Co. sometime in May.   Mrs. Watson will let us camp on the preserve near the pitcher plants, and there is artesian water and facilities.   We will clean up brush and trash at the preserve all day Saturday.   On Sunday morning we can visit 2-3 nearby gorgeous pitcher plant sites, than head on back. As the winner of the 2002 political-talk-show contest of AM 570 KLIF, yours truly earned three hours of airtime.   A half an hour became a question and answer session about carnivorous plants in general and native plants in particular!   The CPT website was 'plugged' shamelessly.

KLIF is the most popular high-ratings, talk-show radio station in the Dallas/FT. Worth area, attracting high-exposure advertisers and millions of listeners across America.
